Reamman Performance Remanufactured Valve Body

Is fully remanufactured to restore proper hydraulic operation while improving pressure control, shift quality, and overall transmission performance.

Each valve body is completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and carefully inspected for wear or damage. Worn components are replaced or properly machined to restore correct hydraulic clearances and pressure control.

Gen 1 (Orange/White) solenoids are replaced with new solenoids due to bushing wear. Gen 2&3 solenoids are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and tested as part of the remanufacturing process.

Individually Dyno Tested

Every completed valve body is individually tested using a dedicated valve body dyno testing machine. The test equipment simulates transmission operation in the vehicle, allowing shift circuits, pressure control, and solenoid operation to be tested before the valve body is shipped.

This ensures the completed valve body is functioning correctly before installation.

More Than a Basic "Zip Kit" Repair

Rather than relying on O-rings "that roll over, get cut, just break or fail quickly" to compensate for worn valve-body bores, worn bores are properly reamed to remove wear and fitted with correctly sized replacement valves. This restores proper valve-to-bore clearance and helps achieve the hydraulic pressure and control the transmission was designed to maintain.

A worn or contaminated valve body can contribute to a wide range of transmission problems, including:

• Poor torque converter clutch control

Higher-mileage 8-speed transmissions can develop wear in the main pressure valve and other critical hydraulic components, particularly as mileage approaches or exceeds 90,000 miles.

Additional areas that may experience wear or contamination include:

• Lubrication control valve
• Torque converter regulator valve
• Solenoids
• Other internal valve-body components and hydraulic circuits

Over time, transmission material and debris can accumulate inside the valve body and solenoids, contributing to inconsistent pressure control and erratic operation.

The Reamman Performance Valve Body addresses these areas through complete disassembly, inspection, proper machining and component replacement, followed by individual dyno testing before shipment.
