Description:
The Reamman Valve Body is completely remanufactured with all new parts and new solenoids. Each valve body is fully disassembled, and inspected for damage/wear. Each valve body is individually tested using a dyno testing machine. This machine acts as a transmission in a car and tests each shift point and solenoid to ensure your product is fully functional. Valve bodies are flow tested at 10% pressure overstock. This is (NOT A CHEAP O-RING ZIP KIT) repair job! Zip kits using o-rings have a high chance of failure due to the o-rings being nicked or cut during installation. It's best to ream out the bore to remove all the wear and use a properly sized valve to achieve the correct pressure. Wiring, TCU, or Mechatronics unit are NOT INCLUDED.

  • Performance Valve Body has increased line pressures for a little firmer shifting throughout the entire throttle range.
  • Larger Valves.
  • Smooth and faster shifting.
  • Better TCC spring.
  • New Solenoids.

Common issues corrected by Valve body and solenoid replacement:

  • Harsh, slow, flaring, falling out of gear, slipping, no shifts, and many other shift issues.
  • Worn pressure valves (most common issue is the 4-5 shift issue when it first starts) if not corrected quickly it will result in bushing wear, which may be seen in the pan fluid as glitter, then it's too late. You will need to rebuild that transmission.
  • Worn check valves, springs, accumulator pistons, lubrication control valve, TC regulator valve, and many other parts.
  • Old valve bodies can build up debris, and material in them causing issues.
  • Solenoids build up debris and material causing erratic behavior and the bushing in them wears over time.

Orders for the Valve Bodies are shipped out Monday thru Friday. The valve body will come with a return shipping label. Please place the Valve Body core with solenoids in the heavy plastic bags and seal them up. Place the core back in the box, and place the return shipping label on the box. Drop the core off at a shipping center or store.

The old valve body and solenoids must be returned as a core for the warranty to be honored (1-year Warranty with unlimited miles from the time of purchase.) Core returns should be completed within 3 months of purchase, if not, the amount of core refund could be affected. If the core return is not received within 6 months of purchase this will be considered a default on the core return. This will be determined on a per-customer basis. I would encourage communication with sutphin tuning if there are any issues.

ATTENTION: If you are sending in your Valve body with solenoids to be rebuilt called R&R please make sure to remove the plastic mech unit TCU/EGS it is not required and can be installed on the rebuilt valve body when you receive it back.

There is a 20% restocking fee on returns. Returns will only be accepted in the first 30 days after purchase.
